Cajita is Jay Chakravorty, a musician from Bristol who makes songs with instruments, voices and computers. He has toured in the UK, Europe and the US supporting bands like Art Brut, James Yuill and Merz, as well as playing on the same bills as Bjork, Ulrich Schnauss and Plaid. The live Cajita show is a mix of live looping, beats and electronica, trumpets, vocal harmonies, guitar, synths and piano. One review called it �melancholic, toe-tapping, danceable loveliness�, which is exactly the point.
Recently, he has been featured on Tom Robinson's BBC6 Music show and Huw Stephen's BBC Radio 1 show, as well as performing an hour-long live session for KCLA FM in Hollywood, California.
