Cici is a Singer, Songwriter, Music Producer, keyboard/Guzheng/Tenori-on player, Choreographer, Graphic Designer and Video Maker.
Cici was training at Ballet School and learning Classical Piano when at the age of 9 she discovered her ultimate idol, Michael Jackson. It was at this point that she began writing her own pop songs. At 14, Cici began studying hip-hop dance in order to develop the necessary skills required of a modern artist. She then began to perform her own work in various international venues and festivals including London’s Trafalgar square and at Singapore’s national day.
At the age of 16, Cici went on to learn the art of Painting and Designing for her A Level. She was self-taught at Music Production until the age of 17. She then decided to study for a Degree in Music Technology, graduating with 1st class honors. During her final year she directed, edited and choreographed a music video to her own song ‘…Ship’.
Cici is able to take influence from any of the music she enjoys including R’n’B, Dance, Drum’n’Bass, Rock and Classical. This quality allows her to be extremely versatile as a Writer, Performer and Producer. But after many years of musical experimentation and exploration, ‘The program – (addicted to it)’ is truly an honest representation of who she is as an artist.
