Growing up listening to the eclectic sounds of Nick Drake, Joni Mitchell, The Average White Band, Annie Lennox, Led Zeppelin, Otis Reading, Stevie Wonder and The Four Tops, I had an amazing sonic spectrum in which to develop my musical tastes. I studied Ballet to professional level and so I also love Classical music, ranging from Rachmaninov and Debussy to modern day composers such as Thomas Newman and Craig Armstrong. I would accompany my Dad to The Electric Ballroom in Camden every Saturday to set up his stall at the vinyl fair and then spend hours wandering around finding new music and new inspiration. At the age of 16, I picked up a guitar and began to write songs from the heart as this is what felt natural to me. I can't imagine self expression being anywhere near as fulfilling without my music. I really hope you enjoy my songs xxx
