Flaxton is:

Lyricist Jacqueline Doherty aka Claudia Flaxton a published Poet, with the International Society of Poets. Photographer, Diploma 04. After a number of years writing screenplays and poetry for fun, I decided to take my poems and turn them into songs. I set to work with artists that could add melody to my words, my first outing as a lyricist came through my friendship with singer/songwriter Heidi Jo Hines. I worked on 3 great songs with Heidi.

I continued to write songs and went on to work with Julian Chown of Joules Productions & singer/songwriter Mannix Lee. All main guitar & guitar solo's on my projects are credited to Glauco Alves who introduced me to Nick Schinder. Guitar's on 'Courage to Love', Jake Marwa.
I began to work with Nick Schinder, from the band, 'The Child.' Nick & myself have an on going collaboration.

I am also working with Blueroom Music, Ike Nossel & Owen Donovan. Together we have on going projects & are working new collaborative artist Clare Hyde.

As a group of friends, we are making lots of songs in different styles basically working on each song as it comes along; each song has its own vibe.
