Josh McMillan was raised in San Antonio, TX. and now resides in Brooklyn, NY. He took thirteen years of piano training and vocal performance while attending a performing arts high school. Josh then spent one year at the Boston Conservatory on a scholarship before becoming the lead singer of a duo called The Deuce Project. In 2003, The Deuce Project was signed to Maverick Records and released its debut album “Stone Cold," which received high praises from Billboard magazine as well as top 40 radio play nationwide. After touring for a year, the duo parted ways and Josh began writing new material and redefining himself as a solo artist. Josh released an acoustic based album titled “Cherry Pie” in 2006 and began independently touring the northeast. Josh is currently writing and producing material for his next album, which is influenced by the music of the 60’s and 70’s. Highlighted by his soulful vocals, Josh’s songs blend funk, jazz, and pop to create a musical fusion full of catchy, upbeat melodies. “For the first time, I have found my own sound, and can’t wait for the world to hear it.” -- Josh McMillan
