The lyrics of this song are very strong in emotion and expression. They paint a vivid picture and genuine feeling for the story they are telling.

While the backing track and the theme and story of the track are well matched there is nothing particularly new or groundbreaking here.

Kasha's the tone & delivery is a little similar throughout. With only one mc on a track it is important to vary the pattern of delivery and tone of voice in order to keep the listener engaged.

The production on this is crisp and clear. Everything is well balanced in the mix but there are no real risks taken.

lacks a memorable hook/chorus for listeners to lack on.. there is one but it needs to be simplified for the audience I think...
maybe a female melody would help

It's a fine line with this kind of 'serious message' kind of track - think about what message you're putting out and whether the audience can really relate.

Sometimes he could switch up the expression as it seems to repeat nuances

Nothing at all original or new here I'm afraid. The words have little connection with the music. If this was performance poetry then the words would have some resonance with the music.

Lyrics work well for me. There could be a bit more musical development throughout the piece. Not much, just some icing...

The programming is ok but really lacking energy. With such minimal arrangement you've really gotta nail the beat.

Sounds ok. The balance is pretty good, but the mix falls down with the vocal production/balance which needs a lot more attention. The hard panned shaker is uncomfortably bright. The mix could be fatter, but overall it could sound a lot worse! Theres a fair bit of masking which could easily be dealt with in such a sparse mix.
