I am a singer songwriter from Newcastle-upon-Tyne in the UK who specialises in big ballads and witty, humorous, lyrical pop songs. I have a penchant for singing the big ballad and I think I can hold my own, vocally, with the best of them. However, I like to inject some humour into my songs and be a little different.

I want my songs to make people laugh and cry. I sing with the deep, rich bass tones of the crooners of years gone by.

My first single: Dying Days is a traditional Pop ballad. The lyrics are inspired by my marital break up. Whilst they are deeply personal, I think they strike a chord with most of us. And that is where I want my music to reach. My songs are about the perils of plastic surgery, insecurity, teenage sons, poverty, marital rows and celebrity. Things we can all relate to and identify with.

The very best of male and female singer songwriters from past and present. Lyrically I love David Bowie, Billy Joel, Don Mclean, Bertold Brecht and the lyrics of the great songwriters such as Stephen Sondheim, Irvin Berlin, Lionel Bart and Gershwin as well as Bob Marley, Elvis Costello, Leonard Cohen and so many others.
Musically I like all types of music from Ambient to Acoustic, from Pop to Rock and World Music to Local Music but mostly I love melody and lyric.
