Uploaded by: Mark Williams
From: London, United Kingdom

Genre(s) : Hip-Hop, Jazz Funk, House

News : Professanutz

Video(s) : Professanutz

Bio : Professanutz

As a producer, the name 'Professanutz' may not be well a known name on the music scene but with his individual sound, his newby status is almost certain to change pretty quickly.
Influenced by the diverse sounds of the day, Professanutz's music is an amalgamation of Hardcore Hip-hop, Movie Score and Jazz Funk.

"I learnt to play drums when I was 8 so the first thing I listen for when I hear a song is the beat."

And those influences that proved inspirational to the Hip-Hop pioneers can clearly be heard in Professa's music. "I remember those days like they were yesterday, with the lino's and the big beat-boxes," he says, as he reminisces about his early Hip-Hop days, "it was nothing like it is now but the spirit, that can't dead, that lives on in the elders and I think we owe it to ourselves to remember what it was like. The music today isn't an evolution, it's an ego-lutuon."

Influences : Professanutz

James Brown, Kool & The Gang (pre-disco even though they still sound good), The Meters, Isaac Hayes, Lilo Schrifrin, Quincy Jones, Dr Dre.
