Profit is clearly a gifted MC who has a strong writing style.

I feel the track gets stronger as it goes on with the 3rd verse being the strongest.

The intro is almost misleading and seems to cut and pasted from another track. While the beat it a nice intricate jazz feel it is perhaps a little weak and could do with a little more boom to it.

Profit has something to say and says it well and relatively clearly and cleverly.

The performance could be made a little stronger through stressing certain aspects of the lyrics that would aid in getting the message across and perhaps slowing down a little as parts feel a little rushed.

Overall though this is a very accomplished start.

The mastering of the track is a little shaky in parts especially with the chorus lyrics getting a little lost under the music.

A little lack of overall clarity with the bassline very low and muffled in the mix but overall instruments and samples used sit well together.

I can see Profit making it as an MC and could possibly do well by appearing alongside better known more established MCs in order to develop his style. Guest verses form him would not sound out of place on many UK Hip-Hop tracks that are being released right now.

quite like this, just lacks originality..

not the only one, but this is quite a dated hip hop sound...

needs more of a hook, this is the biggest part of the track, and the part that listeners latch onto, so it needs to be memorable.

gaps do a lot, simplify the rhymescheme.. find patterns.

chorus is dope

lyrics are good tho
