Simply put, Sidecar is my return to solo artistry . . . through The Silencepoint Project I gained lots of knowledge and experience and now I feel it's time to put these lessons to use. Among the influences that I have . . . Chris Carrabba has to be one of the biggest. One of the goals I have for Sidecar is to be able to reach people with words like he does . . . to actually say something . . . to use poetics in songwriting . . . something that started with my songwriting for The Last Drive and has since been a cornerstone to all of my songwriting endeavors. Musically, the influences span the board but the sounds of 80's soft rock, post hardcore, and 90's alternative, combined with my love for old skool R&B and progressive rock have brought me to a new level in my abilities. The expansion is by no means complete and on this new journey I hope to reach people not only through the joy of music, but through lyrics and delivery as well . . . I hope you enjoy listening to Sidecar as much as I enjoy building this new vessel by which the subconscious travels . . .
